Missed the live but had to catch the replay. Great job as always Rob. Will try to catch the live next go around.
Toto and you have done it. Awesome very pretty song. 🎹🎹🎹🔥 thank you. 🙏🏻
nice job buddy
Good video, but you teach many wrong notes (right hand). Don't try to say im wrong, you just don't know how to exactly play this solo. Fingers that you use is not optimal to play easy. i've been playing keyboards for 23 years and i hear what's correct notes
Send me a video so that I can check it out. Thank you.

I did not see your chats! I’m sorry. I will have to work on that. That bums me out. I like our interaction!
Yo Rob! Thanks for another great night of music. I was in the live chat but I don't think you were able to see chats from UA-cam.
Oh man. I’ll have to take a look at why that happened. I always appreciate your input!
Thank you again Rob for the music and fellowship!
Thanks again for a night of great music.
You are welcome! It’s so nice that you hang out and give such great input. That interaction makes it fun for me!!
Thanks for the music and fellowship.
Thanks for hanging out with me!
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful wow!!!!!!!
That was so soulful and AMAZING WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. We play it here in D key in Ph. Haha. Thank you for this tutorial.
Hi Rob, great tutorial, tks a lot! I am having difficult in order to play on a keyboard. I mean: when I play on a piano keys is ok, but when I try on a keyboard keys, my fingers slides... Specially when I hit the black notes, then my fingers slips. Do have a tip for that?
I get it. I prefer weighted keys for all things piano related. That lighter touch on an unweighted key bed can feel different for sure. I would just encourage you to put some time in on the unweighted keys to get your muscle memory used to it. If you still can’t get accustomed to the feel you may have to spend a little more money and get a weighted key bed that you like the feel of. Not all weighted key beds are created equally so try a few out at a guitar center and see which ones you connect with.
@@How2PlayMusic tks a lot! I will practice just on a unweighted keys and try to adapt to it. Regards
BY FAR THE BEST
Nice job dude…. Thank you!!!!
I would end the song on the intro.
That would work!
Beautiful
I also try to keep it as close to the original, and in intro third chord is pure C#m, without "7". Also, the second chord in intro to my ears is E, with bass part on note G#, not G#m. I also don't hear that disonant E note in verse, in original.
Let me ask you this….would there be a way for you to demonstrate Mike’s background vocas in “Peg”? I mean, could you, would you play them out? Thanks
I’ll see what I can do. Those harmonies are amazing in Peg. I just saw an interview from Rick Beato with Michael McDonald and Michael was saying how those harmonies were so close together that he had to have them mute his previous parts so that he could concentrate on the next harmony that he added because of the dissonant intervals.
@@How2PlayMusic …yeah. Saw that. There’s a youtube link that isolates Mikes harmonies and even sitting at the piano listening to these, I jist cannot get them all. 🤷
Good Job😘
Thanks 😋
Watching how music is played makes you appreciate it that much more! Excellent!
I appreciate that!
Do you have sheet music of this?
I don’t unfortunately.
excelent Tutorial, thanks so much!
Yo Mike, are you trolling here? Show ya face 😎
Great!
Superb!👌
So awesome
My request is lovers in the wind by roger hudgson thank you...
Thank you for doing this! Great tutorial
I can't play piano but because of this tune I wish I could, love the groove, feel and timing of it and you played it perfectly!!
Thank you!
It’s not that hard. They’re just triplets
Where can I find the sheet music for this arrangement?
I’m not sure. I don’t read music very well. I can only play by ear unfortunately. I wish I could help!
Love this ❤ Any chance you can record a version that just has you playing the whole song from start to finish
Thankyou but I'll be back I'm really just a curios guitar player from Michigan you teach really well
I am from Michigan! Just moved down here to Nashville area 3 years ago. I lived in a town called Vassar, near Frankenmuth.
I remember trying to learn this by ear on guitar. I had to forgo the entire first part due to fried brain. It’s a loop that sounds like it’s not a loop. 😂
Yeah it’s a brain fryer for sure. Lol
Can you do a tutorial on Hello It’s Me by Todd Rungren? Love your style! Especially talking about the voicing/ patches.
I'll check it out!
Are the verses the same as the intro just not arpeggiated? It sounds like Jonathan Cain is using an organ/strings setting for that.
I like your teaching style.
Thank you! 😃
The way it is, Bruce Hornsby. Awesome song, awesome musician 🎹🥁🎸🙏🕯️♾️🌌⚡👏💯🇺🇲🌎🌍🌏👍🌪️ I like mandolin rain and a couple of others. Also, a few of his, that other people made big: end of the innocence (Don Henley), Jacob's Ladder (Huey Lewis). Now, this one, Tupac made a rap version of, Hornsby himself praised Tupac in a comment.
All great songs!
@@How2PlayMusic u do great work, thanks 🙏👍😃👏💯🎹🥁🎸🕯️
